Welcome to the first Framhus scarf-collection, inspired by the Art Nouveau artist movement. A rebellious time where artists turned away from viewing art as a science and looked into the emotional aspect of art.
The collection draws inspiration from Alphonse Mucha’s swirly lines & organic themes as well as Toulouse-Lautrec’s avant-garde approach to graphic design through posters & typography. These elements of inspiration brought together a collection of graphic florals, swirly irises and graphic polkadots.
Additionally, the costumes of Art Nouveau actresses such as Sarah Bernard served as the inspiration for her paisley scarves.
